I'm back from Alberta - the Dog-Kingdom of Canada

I’m back from Edmonton and I’m finally home with Mommy, Daddy, and Josie. I know my mommy missed me and she was so excited about all the ribbons I brought home. Honestly, I don’t see what the big deal is about. I just went out and had a ton of fun with mommy but with Laurel and some of my doggie buddies instead.

I don’t think I liked the water because I got a little sick and wasn’t able to make it for the specialty show that weekend. Laurel was a little disappointed but how can anyone be disappointed with me – I’m way too cute!

I even tried to cuddle my way out of being on the table in the show ring. Being all cuddly usually works, gets me into and out of so many things; didn’t work that time though.

All and all, I am glad to be home and do some cuddling with my mommy.

My main bud and I are going to raise some trouble tonight

You know what I would like to do this weekend; I would like to take over this joint. Perhaps I could invite my main bud over and we could totally shake things up here. I already had a little talking to about the whole doggie-party weekend bash thing I suggested so I guess that is out of the question. Perhaps if I just invited one friend over, we can kind of do the same thing but quietly.

He is a mean brut from the wrong side of the tracks and a real hell raiser. Don’t cross me or him or he’ll get you. See his face; he is a real mean dude!

Doggie-Party at my house this weekend….

I heard that Caillee is going on another dog show with her handler this weekend AND leaving tonight no less. My weekend could get much better unless I invite some of my doggie friends over for a small and tasteful little tea party (perhaps).

OH this is a better idea: I get mommy to go away for one of the evening and I could really through a wild doggie-party with loud music, toys, and doggie-treats everywhere! We could all take turns swinging off the chandeliers; and then we could play games like ‘pin-the-cat’, the doggie version of pin-the-donkey. Then I could flutter my eyes at daddy and convince him to take us all for a walk through the near by park. Oh, oh, better yet, I could pig-out on supper large rare-cooked sirloin stake. Oh, the things I might be able to get away with if only mommy was gone for a while and daddy left in charge.

I am only a little dog with big dreams.

What I spent all weekend doing...

I spent most of my weekend on mommy's grooming table.

While mommy was at work this Saturday morning, daddy took Josie and I for a long walk through a near by park that has a small little forest area. Oh we had so much fun running around the park. We were back in time before mommy got home and for daddy to get in trouble for all the burs in my coat. You see I have a show to go to this up coming weekend in Edmonton so I understand. Mommy was saying that there was some sort of Toy Dog Specialty show happening. It was so funny that daddy was trying his best to get as many burs out of my hair before mom saw.

Mom did find out and was very disappointed. Mommy kept trying to call people who may now the BEST way to get burs out of my coat. Mom was so worried about getting the burs out of my hair without any damage, but she was not able to get a hold of anyone. So after all this fun I had I had to spend hours on the table getting those burs out. It was so boring! Thankfully she was least trying to be very gentle about getting those burs out.

So now that mommy is finally all done with fussing over my hair I am able to update you on my weekend.

Have fun,
Caillee

Honorary Pretty in Pink Dog: Rusty

Here is a picture of Rusty, our honorary Pretty in Pink Dog. One of the Bolognese puppies our friend Liv had many weeks ago. Rusty was the only boy in the litter and I hear Liv is very proud of him. And just like us, we too is a little trouble maker too.

We hope to hear more from him!

Could I have a Birthday party too?

Mommy, could I have a birthday party too? My birthday is coming up this month and unlike Josie I have been really good and cute. Here is a picture of my friends in America, Bailey Boo and Beanie T. Bear having a birthday party.

I really like my friends, they are always so nice to me. They even have their own website like I do http://www.baileyandbeanie.com/, too cool.

We can talk later about what I would like to see at my party and about the cake! YUM.

Mommy, you have been having too much fun....

Mommy, I think you have been having way too much fun with my hair tonight. Seriously, is it really necessary for me to have braids down my ears and a hair pointing up from my head just like the Alpha kid in the little rasicals?

I hope you know that I will spend the rest of the night trying very hard to get rid of it. I can not been seen with it.

Mom, please put down the camera. Stop taking pictures, it’s not funny anymore….

Mom!

I don’t think she can hear me past all the laughing she is doing right now.

Oh well,
Caillee

Speaking of Dog shows….

Here is a picture of me and mommy at the last dog show last weekend. It was just me and her. My mommy showed me off and she was so nervous. I don’t see why, I am so pretty and I love being at dog shows. I get treats for acting cute! It’s a job and someone’s got to do it.

Cailleach at contract negotiations

Mommy, I love you very much but seriously I am not a Havanese show dog. This contract I have drawn up here clearly states my duties and responsibilities and they are as follows:

* Look cute
* Play all day
* Find a great bone and have it stolen by Josie (we need to talk about this)
* Chase the cats
* Lay on your lap whenever you watch TV

I only play a show dog once in a while on weekends, otherwise the above this is all my duties and responsibilities. I don’t see why I have to get brushed everyday and have baths almost every week. And another thing, it’s not like Josie and I don’t know what you and daddy mean when you spell out B – A – T – H. Josie has totally filled me in on that one.

These new things we’re doing are quit strange, I sit and I get a treat. I love it! We can keep that in the contract.

So mom, if you can sign right here…..
