Shopping on Saturday

Mom took me out shopping today. She dropped off conformation entry forms at some pet store and bought me stuff. Like I need stuff. She did buy me another new toy but I think she was having more fun with my new squeaky toy than I was.

When we got home, Josie insisted that the new toy is hers. That’s ok, I can share.

Later on that night, when my mom finally finished brushing us, I got to sleep on her lap while she finished watching some movie; Josie laid on daddy’s lap. It was hard to get a good sleep on her lap, she kept laughing at the movie and she never shared one of her treats. How rude!

Good night,

I'd rather be running around

This is a picture of me that my daddy took a few weeks ago while out in the park. Mom had me stay still in a stand while dad was trying to set up the picture. My mom really loves this picture of me. I don’t see what the fuss is all about. I just would like to run around now.

Mom and I were coming back from a sanction match when we came home to pick up Josie and dad. Dad insisted that he bring along his cameras.

We had a long walk around the park and we got to stop at a leash-free zone. Mom still wouldn’t take my leash off. She went on about me being too young or something. Josie got to go off leash… why can’t I?

It was a fun day…

Mental Note

Carrots as a treat before meal time is the greatest treat EVER!
Carrots as a treat after meal time is the worst treat EVER! - mom

What's yours is mine
What's mine is... well, still mine - Josie

I didn't do it
It was her mom!
You can't trust those Havanese - I keep telling you. - Josie

New Toy: Barbie Purse

Mommy brought us home a nice new toy, a very fashionable Barbie purse. Pink is not really my colour but it sure is soft with a nice hard handle. Waite! It squeaks too. Oh this is the best!

Oh, got to go, Josie is coming. She won’t leave me alone. Its my toy. Mommy bought it for me. I’m the youngest and all these toys were yours - now this toy is truly my one and only toy – that’s all mine, that is.

Mine, mine, mine, mine….

Oh got to go.

Waite, give it back….

No Cailleach on walks with me, please

Apparently, Josie doesn’t like to walk with Cailleach. She much prefers to walk with her daddy all to herself… how selfish of her! Cailleach doesn’t care about going on a walk anyway, she would much prefers to stay by mommy’s side.

My Friend Liv had puppies!

Guess what, my long distance friend, Liv, just had a litter of five puppies just like me (Bolognese). One male and four females, I hear Dante is a proud father. I hope to see pictures of them on my mommy’s computer but I assure you they aren’t as beautiful as I am.

I have been doing a little eavesdropping and I hear Liv is being an excellent mom and this is her first time too. I am glad I won’t be doing any of that, it’s hard enough to keep this figure.

Halloween 2005

Over the summer I managed to find two Chinese jackets for my doggies. When I saw them I thought I should get them, since I have never seen other doggie jackets like before. Now you can find them anywhere, but at the time they were the only ones I had ever seen.

Anyway, I have had these cute jackets and haven’t gotten my doggies to wear them yet, Halloween seem just as good time as any especially since I bought myself a Chinese jacket for myself. Mine even match one of the doggie jackets I bought over the summer.

Here is a picture of Josie and Cailleach with their cute jackets on getting ready to hand out the Halloween treats to all the children that come by knocking on our door.

So Josie and Cailleach help me hand out candy this year. They barked at every single door bell, just to make sure I knew that someone was at the door. I had lot fun with my girls that night.

My dogs

I have two dogs; Josie is about four years old Bolognese and my Havanese, Cailleach, is almost nine months old.

Right now I am learning how to show my Cailleach in a dog show ring (conformation show) and I take Josie to a local senior’s home to volunteer as a therapy dog team.

In the past, Josie and I participated in agility and obedience.

Josie’s likes:
- Cheese, bacon, chicken, car rides, hiking with me, tennis balls, andmy bed

Josie’s dislikes:
- baths and getting her nails cut

Cailleach’s likes:
- all foods, squeaky toys, bouncing, and playing with our fat cat

Cailleach’s dislikes:
- collars, and the vet office
