I can't believe I am saying this, my whole world has turned upside down. One ring of the telephone brought me the saddest news I never hoped to share. My beloved Hyacinth is gone. A freak accident ended her life this morning. She was almost fifteen months old, much too young to say goodbye. That is all I can write about her right now but I wanted to let those of you who loved her know of this tragedy.

ReplyDeleteMy deepest condolences.

OMG Juanita, I am so sorry. I do not have the words to tell you how terrible I feel for you. It is one thing to lose an old dog but to lose a young dog like her is devastating. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so very sorry about the loss of your beloved Hyacinth. We in my household have weathered the loss of old dogs through the years but the loss of my husband's beloved English Cocker Spaniel, Dempsey, just before he turned two years old was the most difficult for us. My thoughts and prayers are with you ... take care, Noel.

my heart goes out to you and my tears fall for your loss, I know too well, the depth of your shock and grief, and that
ReplyDeletethere is never a good time to say goodbye to our precious loves, but when we lose a young and vibrant love it is the most heartbreaking and diffcult thing to accept.
We never know how long any one lifetime will be, and I know that your beloved Hyacinth's lifetime was one filled with love and wonder and that she would not
want to see you sad.

cannot express my sympathy towards you are your family - both human and dog- right now.
ReplyDeleteI had the pleasure of meeting miss Hyacinth at few shows this past year. She was such a lovely, bouncy representation of the breed and watching her prance and bounce and strut around the ring brought such a smile to my face. she was such a little gem and an excellent ambasador for the breed.

Oh Juanita! I have tears building up as I type this. I am so, so sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteShe was really the sweetest little dog - and I am not overly fond of little dogs. But a nicer one I have rarely met.
I can't even imagine what you are going through
