Doggie Biscuits / Dog Bone biscuits by Sandi

Doggie bone biscuits. You need to use little doggie bone cutters to create these yummy biscuits for your dog.

Prep time: 1 hour

1 c Whole wheat flour
1 c All-purpose flour
1 c Milk (skim)
1⁄3 c Melted meat fat (beef, lamb, or bacon)
1   Egg (lightly beaten)
1 c Water (cold)

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine dry ingredients.
  3. Drizzle the dry ingredients with melted fat add egg and water.
  4. Mix well.
  5. On a floured surface, roll out dough to ½ inch thickness.
  6. Cut with dog bone cutters.
  7. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until dark Brown and crisp.
  8. Makes about 30 biscuits
