Caillee's thoughts for October 29

Mommy has been on her computer all weekend long; figuring out PHP, SQL, and Javascripts so she says for this website, bolognesegallery.com just about Bolognese and Bolognese pedigrees. She was working on a form that does error checking, looks up the parents, links them or creates new entries for new parents.... this sounds so boring to me.

Mom gave us each a bone 'to keep us both occupied' but Josie, the diva as mom calls her, kept both of them and didn't share - there is two bones and two of us. She can't chew on both of them, I could chew on one.... what a meanie she is!

First day of snow for the season

First day of snow, though it did not last all day, there was at least an inch and a half of snow on the ground this morning; just enough for Caillee to change the backyard to the Indy 500 (for dogs). I do not remember seeing a dog ever so happy to see snow. Josie seemed to half this ‘not this again’ look on her this morning. What a princess she is.

The update for today (October 9, 2006):

Caillee brought home another second in group placement. So far this weekend, she has brought home two group second rosettes.

She looked beautiful out there today with her handler. Walking gracefully around the ring and stacking for the judge – she was wonderful! It was hard to tell who the judge favored, she was good at keeping those sorts of things to herself but I was happy when Caillee and her handler were pointed out second for the group.

I have added her fourth group second rosette on Caillee’s wall of fame along with her other rosettes; a blue, three yellows, couple of whites, and some pale blue ones. Let’s not forget her Reserve Best in Show Ribbon too.

She will always be Best in Show at my house.

Update for Sunday, October 8th

Yesterday, she got second in group.

Today, Caillee did make the cut but did not place today. She did however got the loudest cheers from up in the bleachers where I, my husband, and our two boarders were AND I even heard people else place cheering too. Some of my Havanese friends were there too watching and cheering Caillee on. So the one with the biggest fan club didn't get any rosettes but she was wonderful out there just the same. Hoping for the blue ribbon tomorrow! My fingers are still crossed.

I have pictures and movies. I will when I can.
