A Time of Remembrance....

Today should be a time of remembrance of the soldiers who fought for my freedoms and safety and for those who continue to do so today. Not to diminish any of their great sacrifice but today has another meaning for me as well.

Today marks the one year anniversary to my Hyacinth’s death. Hyacinth, Ch. Hydabrek’s Hyacinth Bucket, was a beautiful championed Havanese awarded with many Best Puppy in Show rosettes , Best Puppy in Group rosettes, and I have totally lost count in the number of Best of Breed ribbons she won. She was my first breed champion and I had so many plans for her in the show, obedience, and Rally-O ring. All these dreams I had for her are all gone.

Hyacinth’s life ended so young by a Chinese Shar Pei owned by Professional Show Handler who was responsible for her care and well-being. I am angry. I am angry she is gone along with all the dreams I had for her. I am angry she is not beside me on the sofa. I am angry how this Professional Show Handler has treated me since her death.

I AM ANGRY.
