We prepped, prepped some more, and prepped again. Oh we even got to do painting after all that prepping.
We worked so hard to get all the walls near hardwood floors done before someone came in to refinish the hardwood floors. Through a series of miscommunication, no one came to do the hardwood floors.
Hardwood floors need to be done before the furnace and furnace should be done before the carpets. And so on it goes.
We were very fortunate to stay a few extra days at the place we were renting while we painted and got things ready for other people to work on things.
We will sleep our first night at our new home.
