Just dropped in to say "Hello"

I received a wonderful "Hello" email today from Jack. Just in time for a wee little 'pick-me-up' to a stressful day. 

So, Jack, Oliver would like to know.... When are you coming over a play date?

Someone missing a little white doggie stuffed toy?

Does anyone recognize this little white doggie toy?

While removing our sofa bed for a newer sofa, Oliver discovered this white doggie toy. At first we had no idea what he was running off with but when we took the white thing from him, we discovered this cute little toy.

We do not recognize it and we are pretty usre it does not belong to us. Perhaps one of Josie's, Caillee's, or Oliver's doggie friends came over with this white toy and lost it. Tucked between the sofa cushions for.... well, who knows how long.

School Age Programs at Oakville & Milton Humane Society

It is good to see some programs for young people to educate them on responsible pet ownership and general animal knowledge.

A pamphlet I came across says their “education team uses innovative games, crafts and animal interaction to help children gain a sense of understanding & empathy for all types of animal” and the children will walk “away with the skills needed to stay safe around animals, wild and domestic”.

The Oakville & Milton Humane Society will hosting a series of events during school scheduled professional activity days: January 31, theme: “Cool” Cats; April 8, theme: Payful Pocket Pets!; and June 10, Dog Days!. Check out their website for more information and times.
