A Super-Dupper Weekend

We had a great, super, marvelous weekend.

Hyacinth had a good time at the Assiniboine Kennel Club and won a Best Puppy in Group rosette all three days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. She was all bounces and smiles just like a happy puppy should be. She will well on her way on becoming a Canadian Champion. I hope to have some photos of this soon.

Josie, Caillee, and I participated in the Multiple Sclerosis of Canada Super Cities WALK this Sunday and raised almost as much as last year. Here is a photo of us beside our sign of last year’s Top Fund Raisers.

Best Puppy in Group

Yup, Hyacinth being handle by her mommy earned a Best Puppy In Group rossette yesterday at the Assiniboine Kennel Club show. She did very well in the ring... shaked her tail and did a lot of smiling. When she walked up to the judge, she looked attently at the judge while she shaked her tail... it was a picture perfect moment.

Today, I along with my husband and a friend will be watching her from the side lines. Laurel Skuba say that the pressure is on because dogs are suppose to do better with Professional handlers. It will be Hyacinth's first time with a professional handler so I won't be expecting much. I just hope she gets used to be at dog shows with a professional handler.

I am also hoping to get a photo done with the Hyacinth and the judge with her Best Puppy in Group rossette today. I hope Hyacinth has fun out there today.

Dog Show Tomorrow = Bath Time Tonight

Hyacinth has her second dog show weekend this weekend and therefore she needed to spend some extra time grooming. Brush, comb, trim pads, shampoo, conditioner... the works. Hyacinth tried her hardest to climb out, she almost made it one time while I had to take a phone call but I got her back in there.

Now she is running around the house thinking she is all free... running around and shaking herself out - having a grand old time.

The best part is yet to come, the blow dry! Where she begins to look like a real show dog instead of just regular Hyacinth with pig-tails.

Caillee and Josie are thankful I haven't starting looking for them. There time will come very shortly. Shhh..... Don't tell Josie, her bath time is tomorrow.

Boring Yesterday

Caillee was groomed last weekend, not the usually basics – the full spa treatment. She still smells so nice.

Hyacinth went to the vet yesterday to remove her stubborn baby tooth out. I feed her like usual last night and she ate well, hard kibbles too. Maybe she ate with the other side of her mouth only.

Josie is quit happy that I have been busy lately, she needs a bath so bad…. Now that all the snow is melting and all the street sand and salt is left, she is no longer a white dog but a grayish dog with brown paws. She is quit happy to stay filthy but the rest of the family isn’t all that happy about it.
