Cailleach Bheur at the Thunder Bay Training and Kennel Club show
I picked up my Havanese puppy girl from Laurel today, my handler. Cailleach showed her heart out at the Thunder Bay Training and Kennel Club this weekend and she brought home with her a 2nd in group rosette and a fourth in group rosette. So far this year she has done amazingly in the ring considering she is still a ‘young pup’.
Right now Caillee and I are circled up together on the sofa getting some rest and enjoying some TV, well, I am enjoying some TV. Josie is by my husband waiting patiently for some snack crumbs and guarding a nice bone Caillee has her eye on.

My little puppy girl may be half Jumping Beans!
I was out and he was getting supper ready that evening, bless his heart. He had gotten the chicken breasts out to prepare them for cooking but stepped away for something, just for a moment really. He heard Caillee jumping away at the counter but seriously, it a counter after all; she couldn’t possibly be able to reach the top of the counter. A second later, he heard another jump but this time he also heard a ‘blop’.

Adventures at the Spruce Woods Provincial Park 1
Here is Josie, my husband and our two boarders, Sasha & Hsin-Mo, starting out on our hike through Spirit Sands at the Spruce Wood Provincial Park near Carberry Manitoba. I am behind the camera. After our hike we plan to have a picnic and perhaps do so more hiking.
Josie, where’s Caillee?
“Mommy said that Caillee is working this weekend at a dogs show. Working? What am I doing? Mom, I am working don’t you know! I round everyone together; I make sure everyone stays close; I lead the group through the park; and I fend off predators if they get too close. So you see, I work even harder then your little Caillee girl.” (Josie)

Pizza & Movie Night #1
Everyone helped to make all the pizzas. We made one Hawaiian pizza, one Canadian pizza but we were missing the mushrooms, one BC or NY style pizza which we were calling a Russian pizza because a Russian was making it, that one had bar-b-q sauce, chicken, onions, green peppers, and cheese. We also made a vegetarian one too but I think it would be better to call that one a tomato and onion pizza because every slice was guaranteed a nice thick slice of tomato.
