Here is Josie and Caillee resting in the shade at the Corn & Apple Festival in Mordon Manitoba, Canada. Behind us is some cars at the car & motorcycle show there.
I picked up some pretty jackets at the festival for Caillee and Josie, and they even got to model them before I bought them. Both jackets are pink but Josie's is flashier while Caillee's is more sophisticated looking.
Josie and Caillee received a million treats and well wishes from passer bys. Both had had pink thingees in their hair and every one made a comment about that. I guess it was good that they brought so much attention to themselves since no one managed to step on any of them.
Well, everyone is back home and tired after a long and super, super hot day.

Day One at MCA

Today Caillee is at the MCA (Manitoba Canine Association) show this weekend in Winnipeg. I am out of vacation days so I have the handler doing that show for me. It was really neat to watch her with a handler from afar.
She got Best of Opposite; she looked like she was having a great time out there. I even got to give lots of hugs and kisses afterwards. She returned my hugs and kisses with her nibbles on my ear.
She looked beautiful out there and I hope network upgrade goes smoothly tomorrow so I can come out and watch again.

Visiting Bango and Diago

My doggies (Josie & Caillee) and I were at Bango and Diago’s house today. Everyone was having a great rump around their back yard and deck. Us human’s stayed around the patio talking, sipping ice tea, and watching all the doggies run around.
At one point Caillee jumped and fell onto their covered pool. My husband and I ran out to see if she actually fell in the pool; she did. I pulled her out right away and she seemed fine. So fine that she ran around teasing those poor boys to chases her. Sorry I don’t have any
pictures, grabbing my camera wasn’t the first thought I had when trying to rescue my dog.Of course, every time I did bring out the camera Josie was there to take center stage. Josie is my attention getter and Caillee is my pleaser. What a combination.
