This weekend couldn't get any better!

Ok, when I thought this weekend couldn’t get any better, things got better. Just to recap, Cailleach won a Third-in-Group placement on Friday with a professional handler. This Saturday and Sunday I was showing her and today Cailleach won a Fourth-in-Group placement.

Ok, a third is better than a fourth but it’s a Fourth-in-Group placement that Caillee won with her mom handling her today. Can you believe it? If I didn’t get to take home the rosette, I may still not believe it myself. Here is a picture to proof the moment. See! That’s Caillee and I.

Third place in Group again!

Caillee-Waillee got another Third in Group rosette on Friday by a professional handler at the Fort Garry Kennel Club show in Oakbank Manitoba Canada. I couldn't get the day off to show her myself but then again, just as well since she brought home another lovely rosette for me to hang one the wall.

I showed her myself yesterday and Caillee did manage get Best of Breed again against some very beautiful stud-muffins in spike of the fact I showed her. Some day and will tons of practice (I suspect) I might get over being so very nervous and confused in the show rings.

So her tally to date is 15 BOB, 1 G1, 1 G2, 3 G3 and 1 Reserve BIS. Maybe one day she might get the coveted BIS prize.

And next week she will be going to her fist American show in Fargo North Dakota and hopefully will earn some points towards an American championship. I can hope and dream, mostly dream.

That’s all I have to update so far for Cailleach’s dog show career. We do have another show this evening where I am showing her. I guess we will see how we do together today.
